Exact Civil Construction were commissioned by Dawson West Coal Management (DWCM) to deliver the Bulk Sample Pit (BSP) Project, which involved extraction of 250,000 tonnes of coal and 2.5 million tonnes of overburden.
Our involvement extends beyond project delivery; we assume statutory roles to ensure strict adherence to project protocols. The haulage and access roads construction scope included clearing, excavation, and installation of a single-width road, implementation of erosion control measures for environmental sustainability, and facilitation of seamless transportation within the expansive project site.
Similarly, for the creek overpass construction, Exact Civil Construction focused on developing a purpose-built passageway to enable haul road traversal over the creek area and ensuring uninterrupted access to various critical sections of the Project site. Throughout the BSP excavation (Boxcut) phase, Exact Civil Construction retrieved approximately 250,000 tonnes of raw coal and removed about 2.5 million BCM (Bank Cubic Meters) of overburden.
Our commitment goes beyond mere extraction; we prioritised environmental stewardship through erosion control measures and the construction of essential infrastructure such as haulage roads and a creek overpass to enhance accessibility and operational efficiency on the site.
We emphasise safety and compliance through provision of Site Senior Executive (SSE) statutory mining roles, to ensure regulatory adherence throughout the Project lifecycle.
